Preschool Program

Gaarde Christian School offers the following preschool classes:

1. THREE YEAR OLDS
   Class Size: 12 student maximum
   Class Hours:  (AM Class) 8:30am - 11:30am / (PM Class) 12:30pm - 3:15pm
   Class Days:
1. Tuesday and Thursday (2 days per week)
2. Monday, Wednesday and Friday (3 days per week)
   
   
2. FOUR YEAR OLDS
   Class Size: 16 student maximum
   Class Hours:  (AM Class) 8:30am - 11:30am / (PM Class) 12:30pm - 3:15pm
   Class Days:
   1. Monday, Wednesday and Friday AM's (3 mornings per week)
   2. Monday, Wednesday and Friday PM's (3 afternoons per week)


3. PRE-KINDERGARTEN (for students 4 years and older)
   Class Size: 16 student maximum
   Class Hours:  8:30am - 11:45am
   Class Days:
   1. Monday through Friday (5 days per week)

Preschool Curriculum

Our preschool classrooms have been designed to meet the emerging needs and interests of the children in each class.  Some of the experiences your child will have the opportunity to participate in are:

Preschool Faculty

Our Preschool Faculty have been chosen for their expertise, as well as their love for children. They have extensive knowledge and experience in Early Childhood Education and Development. They are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment for the children. On-going education and training keep staff up-to-date in Early Childhood Education, CPR and first aid.

All faculty are under the direction of Kellie Hooper, GCS Administrator, and Pastor Thomas P. Frisinger, GCS Superintendent and Senior Pastor of Faith Journey Church.

Day Care

Gaarde Christian Day Care, a ministry of Faith Journey Church, is a state licensed Day Care that provides care for GCS students, as well as children in our community. The Day Care hours are 7:00 am - 8:10 am and 11:30 am - 6:00 pm.  Registration is required and an hourly rate is charged.
